I joined in May 2011, only a couple of weeks after Scentsy launched in Europe. Summer was tough for me because I'd never done direct sales before and didn't have any connections, friends and family to start me off in getting the word out. I ended up doing some small little events like charity days and pamper evenings and bringing my Scentsy kit along. It took me a few months, but I built up a small little customer base and when November came I was absolutely astonished at the sales. Planting those little seeds and learning the ropes earlier in the year, definitely gave me a leg up!
